The story of cheeps _ Oxy detox using sub.

Heroin, Pain Pills, Methadone are all opioids (aka opiates) and it just plain sucks or feels impossible to get off of any of them. Share about stopping, detox, or the desire to stop any of these.

Yes, our yard is nice for being smack in the middle of a metro and white trashy area. My bf has taken to gardening and keeping up all sorts of greenery. Too bad all the standard kiddy toys litter up the otherwise lovely yard now!

Two issues....

Postby cheeps » Sun Oct 12, 2014 12:00 am

Motivation is absent without leave...doesn't matter if I'm on drugs or not. And.... whenever I do anything it kills my back and it pretty much fucking hurts all day. I'm not strong enough....I have to get stronger by walking and I hate walking in the heat. I know most of you peeps hate detoxing in the cold but I hate detoxing in the heat. I hate all heat related activities....I live 55 miles from the beach and hardly ever go. Fuck the beach. I have to make myself walk. All of you guys have permission to tell me what a lazy Fuck I am for not walking. I could stand a little verbal abuse every few days. Like....

Cheeps!!! you fucking lazy bitch. Get off your fat ass and walk or I'll tell you what a sorry fucker you really are

Get up and get moving!

Our 60 some year old neighbor has always been incredibly active, walking her dog twice daily, always outside gardening, etc (I consider this "incredibly" active cause im less than half her age and can't keep up). She went for trachea surgery a week before I quit sub and she's still recovering her strength and is getting frustrated she isn't able/allowed to even go downstairs to do laundry.

Also she quit the pain meds before they ran out. Ya know, one of THOSE people.

Don't know where I was going with that. Guess if you can get moving and know it's to your benefit, just do it!

Stop reading this and go do something physical. If not now, when?

Have you considered getting an elliptical? It's low impact on the joints. Some people can't fathom exercising indoors, but whatever it takes to stay active. I'm one to talk though because I've been stuffing my face with southern food and dessert for the last year thanks to my elderly neighbor. I hate admitting this, but I've put on 30lbs this past year because of no drive or motivation while on sub and then after detox, but I'm joining a gym next week because I feel good enough to be active now. Got my diet planned also. I can't wait to get back in shape again. I really hope your pain gets better because our health is really all we got besides family. Now, GET YOUR LAZY ASS UP AND MOVING! :D Even if it's just around the yard.

So are you clean yet cheeps? I haven't been here in a long while. Last I heard was you were just finishing your taper off sub... So did you make it? Or are you back on the oxy?

How about you Jules? Did you finish your sub taper?

Hope all is well with you guys!
Been on (and off) sub for just over 10 years. Clean as of August 10th 2014
Was on benzos for about 10 years. Went off cold turkey on Aug. 21st 2013.
Also, been clean from H (& other drugs) just over 3 years.

Everything I say on this site is just my opinion. I am no expert by any means (and I definitely don't mean to come off that way).

I'm tapering now....trying to catch up with Jules. I went to the beach and spiked for pain issues and because I wanted too. Now I'm serious and going down.....I was just writing down my taper....I'll be off right after thanksgiving weekend. I'm pissed because I should have been off.

Hey guys! Yeah From my experience, tapering isn't really a straight line for most people. It sure wasn't for me! I went up and down so many times I can't even count them lol.
I give you tons of credit for sticking at it.

So are you on sub cheeps? Or SAO's?

Do you know what you are gong to taper down to Jules? Or are you just kind of playing it by ear and seeing how your body handles it? I don't know how you taper so low. Every time I got down under 1mg I felt like total crap and could never seem to balance out. But I guess maybe its different since you were only taking like 1/2 mg or so...

Good to hear from you guys though! I will try to check in more often. I am only working 1 (full time) job now instead of 2 so hopefully I'll have more free time now. Working 2 jobs was definitely a help to keep my mind and body busy but I jus couldn't handle it anymore. My energy level is still crap, but I was on some sort of opiate for like 15 straight years, so I don't expect to feel great. Not yet anyway...

It took me about 8 months to feel back to near normal. I'd been doing opiates daily for 25 yrs, with 12 being at 140mg methadone. It takes a long time to get back to "normal". This time I think I'll bounce back quicker cuz I never went over .5mg and only been on since July. I plan on tapering to zero. I've hit .04 a couple days, but I was useing Kratom. I want to do this lopermide and Kratom free...
Please do check in more often SOS. I miss ya. I'm glad to hear your doing well...keep at it, or I'll sic Cheeps on you :MrT:
