Hey Martin, I'm concerned about this too. It gets God awful hot down here on the Gulf Coast in the Spring/Summer. I'm talking 110 degree heat index. I should be somewhere around 1 mg during this time & I'm also concerned about the heat radiating from my inner body. It passes quickly now, but at 1 mg who knows?

Summer is the time we live in our houses/work places & cars down here. Maybe it won't be so bad. I've tapered slowly so hopefully I'll be able to adjust to each drop & not sweat too much. I can hope!

Hey there Martin. Just checking in. Are you still hanging at 2 mg's? I'm finally there myself and I feel great. This is the first time that I've dropped completely and stayed, instead of slowing adding in a lower dose by the week. I've had basically no WD symptoms doing this too. I can't hardly believe it.

So you've got a lot of traveling to do this Spring? Are you going to suspend your taper to get through it? 2 is so nice that I could stay here for a while. But I'm not going to do that.

Anywho, hope you're doing really well. Catch up with us when you can.

Thanks Kat

Yeah, not much going on in Martin's world. I'm still at 2mg.
No better, no worse. Yeah, I'm kinda dragging my feet
with the taper since I'm going to be away from home
so much until after the first of June. On
the other hand I'm getting very very fed up
with all of it. Tired of still feeling cloudy
headed all the time, tired of the long drive to my doctor.

My doctor said NO to Belbuca because it's
illegal to prescribe it for addiction in
this state. (but good news! He has a monthly injection he
can give me! Fuck that!) I already knew that
was going to be the outcome, but I asked anyway.
I'm not mad. For the most part he's a good guy.

However, I have decided that I'm never going back
to my sub doctor until I am clean. I have almost
400mg of suboxone left. Even at 2mg a day it
should last me almost 6 months. I'm done. This is it,
if I can't taper myself off before I run out
of bupe I'll just have to go through acute
withdrawals again. But that won't happen
I CAN DO THIS! 6 MONTHS IS PLENTY OF TIME.

Hi Martin! So glad to hear that you're holding and doing relatively well at 2 mg's. Luckily I don't have anything pressing now to stop me from my continual taper. I'm hoping to get down to 1 mg by the end of June and stabilize there for an August 4th wedding that's very important to me.

After that, I'll start the slow decent from 1 mg to 0. That's when I think it will get a bit harder. I'm going to try to walk in Anna's steps. She's gone low & slow & very consistent. That's what I want to do too. I was hoping this could be done faster, but it just won't. April 14th will be 1 year on subs.

Low & slow wins this process. Plus I have to work throughout as best I can.

I know you're going to be very busy on the road, but stay in touch my friend.
