.... again
-Oxy in 08, Subs 09-14
-spent 3 months tapering and forming better habits
-jumped from .05 mg on 10/13 and felt no difference between the last few weeks of the taper and cutting completely. little to no withdrawal.

Your at .02 now?
Time to skip a day or two?

julez lol... why are you always behind on the news???

when i was at .25, you thought i was at .4...... and a couple other times lol...

now i say "jump" and you say ",02 every other day?"

lol... jump means jump. 48 hours no subs. feel exactly the same.... but we know how that goes. so we will see. slept better last night then the past two. its a relief not to be anticipating a dose....because it started messing with my head. i anticipated relief...but .03 didnt do anything at all. so it was almost a let down.

Hey Grant what was the lowest dose you felt actually mattered? I really hope you don't feel much worse than you do now.

Cutting from
.25 definitely mattered. I felt that. .125 maybe mattered. .06 was definitely pointless for anymore than a few days. I think people should definitely get down to at least .15 ..... No symptoms at 54 hours.

i suppose the next question will be... "comfort meds?"

ok... this is the second night.... ive taken 5 or 6 immodium these first two days....more just in case.... but i have noticed that it seems to change the way my body feels, past simply fixing the intestinal issues. i think i'm gonna be careful on this... i know it sounds crazy....

this whole thing started with me saying yesterday.... im just gonna try to take 3 immodium instead of my sub dose.... cant hurt to try right? ... ever since the initial shock of realizing "your really not gonna get your dose" which lasted a few hours.... i've felt perfectly fine. no different than when i was on .03 or .06 or .09.....

in addition to the immodium just in casies..... i took half a clonidine and 25 mg of trazadone last night and slept great. i had some vivid dreams which hasnt happened in a while....weird.

personally, i dont think its gonna get much worse. even though it did the past two times. i think the key is getting your life together, so that your too busy to constantly try to guage how you feel. also, no sleep seems to be what finally caught up to me last time jumping off .15 .......i was fine for 7-10 days but just couldnt sleep and it eventually wore me down. back then there was no way i could sleep without dosing. but i slept last night without dosing. which is huge.

Oh.....! CURSED YOURSELF HA!! :D

I'm crossing everything for you that that IS the case, Grant! I truly am. Hmmm? But just thinking, YOU tapered properly, unlike Jackass here

Hint: Omeprazole taken with Loperamide helps it across the blood/brain barrier...apparently? lol (junky myth #18556…)
No, from experience, 6 +1 was = to 18 on their own. Really :D

Just keep away from the p***y s***s! I dare not speaketh their name! Kinda like Beetlejuice without the fevered hallucinations   :gaah:

DONT SUFFER UNNECESSARILY!

That is my message! Up there...can you see it?

Short Term Only....worry not about having to resort to a SAO to ease-the-pain during emergencies. Unless you think it would set you off again? Otherwise it's just medication to get you over the worst if you need it.

I needed it.

I didn't have it.

I suffered unnecessarily. :banghead:

From first hand experience with "but maybe I'm unique" syndrome, which of us have or had at some point... no SAOs daffy! Come on, he's saying its not even that bad thus far.

yeah... i didnt sleep much yesterday....but will note that it was nothing like last time, where i had terrible restless legs.

it was no different then the past 2 days of sleeplessness.....before yesterday when i slept great.....

if anything, ill just up trazadone from 25 mg to 50...

i still havent taken any of my 8 klonipan and i dont plan on it unless i know i have to be up for an interview.... or if i have a whole week of sleeplessness and need sleep.

so my plan of escalation is....

1) up trazadone to 50 mg, and if i sleep, take it back down next night

2) if i have sleep troubles with higher trazadone, then try half a knlonipan. only if ive gone without sleep for multiple nights. if still nothing. full klonipan. then wont use again another 4-7 days.

3) last resort... if unable to sleep for a week..... would use half a tramadol to get 4 hours or so. but i did want to save that in case im messed up during thanksgiving and have to go out of town. i would never take all 5 of what i have.... last time i jumped.... after 3 weeks or so.... i would get legitimately high from 1 tramadol. i took 2 one time and was like "ok this is bad. not doing this again." therefore, if i needed it i would only take a quarter.

i dont plan on using either of those though. i plan on: lope during day.... plus temporarily took my full 20 mg of vyvanse instead of 15 mg i had been taking.... in case of energy issues. lope during day. half a clonidine, 1 ib profin, and trazadone at night.

pretty standard stuff.

klonipan and tram only in case of absolute emergency.... no desire to touch it. i would never take a klonipan just because. they dont really help me sleep, and im not having any anxiety attacks.

CONGRATULATIONS GRANT!!!
Sorry for missing your post about jumping :ogeez:
You got this buddy
I think your right...I'm not sure I can get much lower than .10mg but I'm gonna keep trying. I've had two fitful nights of nightmares and sporadic sleep the last two nights...so I can tell I'm getting near the end. Did you have nightmares? Damn, I hate those!
Really proud of you...and like the other guys said, NO OPIIES...no tramadol or codeine or nothing. That stuff is poison for us...and each jump gets harder.
 now don't run off now that your clean...keep us posted

yeah. at a certain point, julez..... you'll be prolonging it. im not saying that time is now.... you gotta use this time to prepare yourself and get a routine.

but, at least so far... at 72 hours..... its no different than it has been the past few weeks.

theres no symptoms even worth mentioning.

i just feel normal.

we will wait until about the 10 day mark.... but at this pace, im pretty sure my endorphins were doing some healing while i was tapering....

i feel similar to the way people say they start feeling at about 30-45 days in.

and perhaps the reason why is because i spent roughly 30 or more days at like .25 or less.

That might be the key! All the horror stories seem to be from people who jumped at a higher dose, or rushed through the smaller doses...very interested to see how this turns out for you and Jules when she's done! Please keep posting updates!
