As I was reading the "try yogurt thing" i was thinking about the fact that it is fairly healthy with a decent amount of nutrients, and most importantly you can just put it down. I just slammed two and damn it felt good. thats wise advice haah.

Thanks Blows,
Things like yogurt and mashed potatoes are easy to eat in WD. A bowl of cereal feels like eating shredded cardboard and glass when I'm in WD. We should start a list of healthy easy to eat foods. Rice pudding, thick soups...those sort of things...

And I also didnt start posting till like day 12 or 13? when i felt good enough to not bring down people reading these for encouragement.

Yeah, I hear ya...but then again, sometimes during WD's, nothing tastes good at all...I'd just cram whatever I could down my throat because I knew in needed the calories and nutrients. FWIW, there came a period after a few weeks, where I couldn't get enough...I ate like a freakin pig all day long and even got up during the night to stuff my face...which is something I hadnt really done all the while I was on opioids.

I am with you on this one with a slight variation... couldn't eat enough tomato soup, craved it all the time. Normally not something I would wanna have. Must have some nutrients in it which I was in need of.

Tomato soup is good...especially when you break up so many crackers in it that you can practically eat it with a fork

Crushed up saltines are always good in corn chowder too... did not try it during heavy withdrawals but I imagine that would be smooth on the stomach.
