Hey Punkie, how are you?? It's good you are stable before decreasing your dose. You may feel something going from 12mg to 8mg, or nothing at all. Everyone is so different and has difference experiences. Just go with the flow and listen to your body. You're doing great. One day at a time and do the best as you can and try not to worry into the future.. Sounds like you have enough subs to get you through to the other side,
Love ya

I am on day 28 overall taper and day 12 on 12mg of sub. I will go to day 15 on 12mg then go down to 8mg for 15 days.
I have pretty much leveled out now so I think 15 days is a good number for each taper. We will see if that changes when I get to a lower dose-

Hey girlie....something to think about.....even though life gets in the way, any movement lower is better than no movement at all.

Hey ALL! It has been a couple of weeks and I am still at 10mg. I did great going from 24mg to 16mg to 12mg to 10mg- I did 15 days each taper and didn't feel anything really except insomnia! I have been on 10mg for a while now and have started to feel effects- depression, agitation, worsening insomnia, stomach issues... I spoke with my Sub doc and he said just stay at 10mg for a while until it evens out and then go down by 2mg tp 8mg. I am hoping to be off completely by this summer so I can go back to work. I left my nursing job and it sucks but I know it was the right thing to do until I get this kicked. I miss working and feel like I am going crazy without human interaction on a daily basis. I am trying to be positive and stay focused on the light at the end of the tunnel but I am very impatient and want what I want when I want it... Aren't we all?
I have Trazadone to help me sleep but I haven't used it yet. I don't have anything anti anxiety but feel like that will come soon enough- I am hoping my sub doc will give it to me since my PCP fired me as a patient.
Thanks for all of your support and I will try to come on here more often to update.
I won't give up. Not happening!!
Talk soon!

You can keep going and make a 1mg cut every two weeks....the poison is getting out...this is the midst age....keep going! You need to get to 4mgs a sap so you can get rid of the crappy side effects....this is the time stage that you can go fast!

Whatever you decide....keep us posted!!

You're doing great!! Go punky!!!

Hey, Punky? How are you doing? You can do this, seriously. If I can, anyone can. You are making amazing progress.
